1) ненадлежащим образом, неправильно употреблять, применять, verbo abuti (1. 41 D. 15, 1). 2) употреблять во зло, злоупотреблять (1. 15 § 1. D. 7, 1. 1. 27 § 1 eod. 1. 5 § 13. D. 27, 9). 3) издерживать, истрачивать (1. 25 § 11 D. 5, 3); также в хорошем значении (1. 29 C. 5, 12).
